JQ-003 vs JQ-004 Drain Augers: Planning a Mixed Trial Order
A distributor choosing between JQ-003 and JQ-004 should decide the operating method before choosing cable length. The same 6 mm cable diameter does not make the tools interchangeable. This guide turns the catalog differences into a trial-order checklist; it does not prescribe an unverified sales mix.

1. Separate Manual and Drill-Ready Demand
Ask your customers whether they need a hand-turn tool or a tool with a drill attachment. Put JQ-004 in the manual group. For drill-ready requests, evaluate JQ-003 and obtain the operating instructions and drill limits before sample approval. Do not advertise JQ-004 as drill-powered or infer automatic cable feeding from the product name.

2. Allocate Lengths from Actual Enquiries
Use recent customer enquiries or purchase records to separate demand for 4.5 m, 6 m and 7.6 m cables. If that evidence is unavailable, ask for samples before fixing the bulk mix. A longer cable is not proof that the tool fits a particular pipe diameter, material or bend layout. Confirm the intended drain and access conditions separately.

3. Send One Comparable RFQ
- List each model and requested quantity on its own line.
- State the destination and intended drain applications.
- Request sample price and freight separately.
- Confirm individual packaging, carton quantity, carton dimensions and gross weight.
- Request the supplied instructions and any required label language.
- Ask for the lead time for the complete mixed order, including any packaging changes.
Our minimum order quantity is 500 pieces. Mixed orders are accepted; the model allocation must be confirmed in the quotation. Samples are charged, with sample freight refunded after an order is placed. Typical lead time is 15–45 days, subject to the confirmed order. These terms do not mean 500 pieces are required for every model.
4. Keep a Sample Approval Record
Record the sample model, cable length, operating method, received packaging, instructions, review date and unresolved questions. Agree the inspection criteria and retain the approved sample as the order reference. Put the order on hold if the sample label and quotation specify different models or lengths. For JQ-004, a drill-powered label is a mismatch that needs correction.
